If you see that Beauty Points were not added, this is not necessarily an error.

The quantity of Beauty Points you can have is related to your Zoo Status.

When you get more Beauty Points than your Zoo Status allows for, they are hidden.

You need to upgrade your Zoo Status to for the real quantity of Beauty Points to appear.

To see your current Zoo Status, tap on the gold medal.

There are a few exceptions.

Beauty points for premium decorations (e.g. the pirate ship and other event decorations) can be added above the status limit.
